This example was retrieved from their WEB site in mid March 2008, and is typical of the required hardware package. You will need the following equipment;
One basic workstation - This is a small footprint Dell Optiplex brand computer equipped with a touch screen monitor with credit card reader, cash drawer, keyboard and mouse, and receipt printer.
One master terminal - This is a basic workstation plus an additional Kitchen Printer and network router to connect the system together and to the internet.
If you want to add a third workstation, another basic workstation is all that is required. There is no additional software charge for adding a third workstation.
You might need to purchase additional Cat 5 network cables to connect the units to the network router and also run wiring for the remote kitchen printer. A local office supply store or a computer service store can probably provide these items and services at a reasonable price.
Dell provides a 3 year warranty for most items, the touch screens come with a 1 year warranty. Be sure to check these options.
